'Old Furnace Contest' Rules

Summary of Contest Rules

No purchase necessary to enter or win.

To enter, simply telephone our offices at (419) 352-7092.

Alternate method of entry is to stop into our office at 502 Pearl Street Bowling Green, Ohio 43402 during regular business hours and complete the contest form.

Deadline to enter is March 31, 2012. The drawing will be Monday, April 2nd.

1. Drawing will be from the top 20 oldest gas forced air furnaces.

2. Contest limited to standard single family residential installations only.

3. Contest limited to customers who call us to enter the contest during the contest period and must be from within the geographical area of WOOD COUNTY, OHIO.

4. All decisions of the judges will be final. The winning furnace shall be determined to be the "oldest" by using one or more of the following conditions:

  • A. Furnace must not be modified. Unit must be in original condition.

  • B. Original invoice or other factual documentation attesting to the installation date of the furnace.

  • C. Date code from the furnace serial number.

  • D. In the event of a tie, the earliest contest entrant shall be the winner.

    To claim the award the homeowner/occupant must do the following:

    1. Allow "before & after" photos of the customer and furnace to be taken as deemed suitable by the contractor.

    2. Sign a "photo release" authorizing United Home Comfort to use photographs for promotional purposes. Photo session must be allowed within two weeks of notification. Prize will be awarded as part of the photo session.

    First Prize is limited to standard furnace replacement
    Valued up to $3,500.

    Additional costs such as, but not limited to, permits and code required improvements are not included in contest prize.

    Second place winner will receive a Pure Air Filtration System.
    (Value $1,600.).

    Third place winner will receive a High Performance Health Smart Filter System
    (Value $160).

    Fourth place winner will receive a FREE Furnace Tune Up.
    (Value $79)

    Fifth place winner will receive a Lennox Programable Thermostat
    (Value $79, Installation NOT included.).
